Tell us a little and we'll reply on WhatsApp or email. Nothing is stored in this app: your message goes straight to the PHC team in the UK. We'll then explain how to share your medical reports securely for review.

Please don't include detailed medical history here. The hospital's specialists will review your reports properly and privately.

How it works

  1. Free chat with PHC in the UK. Ask anything. No pressure, no hard sell.
  2. Records review. The hospital's specialists review your reports and scans and send a written treatment plan and quote.
  3. We help you plan. Sell-Efficient and the hospital's international patient desk help with your medical visa, dates, airport pick-up and stay.
  4. Your treatment. In Kerala, with the international patient desk looking after you from arrival to discharge.
  5. Aftercare. A discharge summary in English, telemedicine follow-up, your GP back home, and a UK contact if you have questions.

Questions people ask

Who are PHC and Sell-Efficient?

PHC (Pharma Healthcare Consultancy Ltd) created this app and is your UK point of contact before, during and after treatment. PHC works in partnership with Sell-Efficient Ventures, which coordinates patient care in India, including hospital referrals, your arrival and repatriation, with leading hospitals in Kerala such as Rajagiri Hospital in Kochi.

Why Kerala?

Kerala, in South India, has internationally accredited hospitals, English widely spoken in healthcare, and a calm setting for recovery. Rajagiri Hospital is around 20 minutes from Cochin International Airport. Whether travelling for treatment is right for you depends on your condition, your fitness to fly and your UK care. Ask us and we'll talk it through honestly.

How much does it cost?

See the indicative prices above. Your actual price depends on your diagnosis and plan, so the hospital gives you a written quote after reviewing your records, before you decide anything.

Is treatment abroad safe?

All treatment carries risks, wherever it happens. Take your time, ask about your specialist's qualifications and the hospital's accreditation, check you're fit to fly, make sure you understand the aftercare plan, and read the NHS guidance on treatment abroad before you book. If you're already under a UK specialist, talk to them first and don't stop any treatment.

Do I need a visa?

Yes. UK passport holders need a visa for India. For treatment, India offers an e-Medical visa, and up to two companions can apply for an e-Medical Attendant visa. Rules can change, so always check the official Indian government visa website and GOV.UK travel advice for India before you book flights.

Will my travel insurance cover it?

Standard travel insurance usually doesn't cover planned treatment abroad, or complications from it. Look for specialist medical travel insurance. The UK GHIC card doesn't cover India.

What if I have a problem after I get home?

Contact the hospital first, using the details in My trip. If it's urgent, call 111, or 999 in an emergency, and tell them you've had treatment abroad and what was done.
